The Joint Holder Adapter is used in place of the Glass Bowl to convert the Element, Explorer and the Exhilarator into a Joint Holder. The joint holder has a coned shaped tapered hole to fit most pre rolls and the ones you roll your own. The cone will fit joints with tip diameters from 5mm [0.20''] to  8mm [0.32'']. If you need something bigger, get the 14mm Female Blunt Adapter.
